Cake Sale

Miss Kiely is doing a cake sale on the 15th March 2018 and the sixth formers there have been making them and selling them. They make around 200 cakes. The money is going to go towards the prom and cakes were 50p and donuts were £1.20 – Owen Year 7
On the 15th of March there was a cake sale at Cox Green School, Maidenhead. They were selling their cakes for 50p and their donuts for £1.20. We spoke to Miss Kiely and she said, “we are hoping to raise around £400 to raise money for the Year 13 prom. The cakes were made by the sixth formers and the year 12s – Luke B Year 7
At Cox Green on the 15th March there was a cake sale held at both break times. We spoke to Ms Kiely who was heavily involved with the cake sale. One of the things she said was that by the end of the day they wanted to have raised at least 400 pounds to go towards the year 13 prom. As the money went towards the year 13s. They made the cakes – Noah, Year 7

Today there was a cake sale at Cox Green School hosted by Miss Kiely which was a fan favourite amongst children on March 15th. The 6th formers ran the cake sale and made around 200 cakes. This was to go towards the prom decorations. Near the end of the cake sale, there were only about 10 cakes left. Hopefully all the events taking place in the school today can go as well as there is also a concert taking place tonight. – Cameron Year 8

Cake Sale

Miss Kiely, head of sixth form, and the sixth formers decided to make a cake sale to get enough money to get many fabulous decorations for their leavers prom.

Their aim is to gather at least £400 so that they can have an amazing night. The cakes were made by Year 13 and some Year 12s. They sold them at 1st and second break. This meant they had plenty of chances to get as much money as they could.

The cupcakes were 50-75p and donuts were £1.20. This was a very good price and they probably raised enough, just by thinking of this. They must be very successful because of this – Gaby , Year 7

On the 15th March 2018 the sixth formers from Cox Green School put on a bake sale at break times for the children. They were raising money for decorations for the year 13 prom, their target was to raise £400. The head of sixth form Miss Kiely. We interviewed Miss Kiely about the sale, “It took 1 week to prepare and unfortunately we had to cancel because we had a snow day. The Year 13s did an amazing job at making the cakes and they were at a good price. A cupcake was 50p, a crispy cake was 30p and a Krispy Crème donut was £1.20 .
